Kung Fu Panda News
(Note: News may be triggering if you disliked KFP 4 as much as I did)
Mike Mitchell reports that he feels the franchise should've ended on his film because he states:
“I don’t think it will ever get boring to watch Jack Black voice Kung Fu Panda. But I have to say, I feel sorry for the next filmmaker team that has to do this because we have done everything we possibly can. It is going to be hard to top this one."
What is this guy on? KFP 5 has SO SO SO much more they can expand on beyond his silly little film. Such as: Furious Five spin-off, and having Po exploring beyond the continent of China, etc.
I really hope Stephanie directs the 5th film if it ever happens, her ideas will definitely redeem the franchise and fix the damage this guy did.
Moral of the story: NEVER EVER... Let this guy cook again.

So some of our Hope's and theories have come true. Mike Mitchell stated that in 5, The Furious Five would be in front and centre. Also that they want to explore the world of oceans and bugs. Like they were intrigued by the armour of Master Dolphin so they brought a stingray and the fish character in KFP4.
However, this update is by Mike Mitchell and it might be possible for him to direct KFP5 which most of us did not want. Well let's see what happens.

So co-director Stephanie Ma-Stine has assured fans that this is not the last film and that there is more to Po's story so I guess Zhen does not become a main protagonist.
I'm not sure if it's the original version by Britney Spears or a cover by Jack Black.
Either way. what the actual @$#@?
This is Kung Fu Panda, for crying out loud!

Update (March 3, 2024): This has been confirmed. The song will play during the film's credits and will be a cover by Jack Black's band Tenacious D:

Scrolling through my Instagram, I ran into our first movie poster yet to be released perhaps the same day as our trailer!
If anyone else has a bigger yet better-quality version, be my guest...
The first images for KFP4 have been revealed just before the trailer's release, one of the images shows Po fighting against the Chameleon, who has shapeshifted into a eagle ray.

It has also been reported that Hans Zimmer will be returning to compose the score for Kung Fu Panda 4! This time, he won't be alone as Steve Mazarro will join him just like John Powell did for the first two.
Jack Black revealed that his band Tenacious D with Kyle Gass will be perfoming a new song for the end credits for KFP4.

Among the characters featured is the official design of Zhen, who should be the one next to Po.
