Personality[]

At first glance, it seems that Alfred is a noble and courageous knight and a great brother to Luthera. He taught her values to be a knight, to be smart and respectable, and gave her great hopes that she can become a knight one day. Luthera went on a mission to arrest Veruca and Klaus for the dissapearance and apparent murder of Alfred. And then, Alfred reappeared, and avenged his own death by killing Veruca.

But then, his true colors appeared when he decided to instead of destroying the ancient weapons. He used them to enforce a totalitarian regime of peace, where no kind of conflict and animosity is allowed. He killed the leader of a gang of crocodile lizards to make an example, and he apparently arrested two bar regulars that were bickering over a chess game. Alfred had a "ends justify the means" mindset. He believed in being the only one capable to maintain peace over the world at the cost of everyone's freedom, and he wanted to unify the world into Pangea, so that people don't get separated from different land masses. However, his plan would cause a great damage to the world infrastructures and make mass casualties. In fact, he was able to convince many of his close ones and himself that he was right about doing the greater good.

He felt ultimately betrayed when Luthera and Lucinda turned against him, now that the latter chose not to sacrifice the world over the love of her son. But then, he was ultimately convinced that he was doing the opposite of protecting the world, and that the world's destruction would be his fault because of his ego. Because of this, he agreed to destroy the ancient weapons and let go of his power to protect the world. After doing the deed, he accepted that he wasn't a good brother, and that Luthera was a better knight.
