The Clap of Stillness is an advanced kung fu technique that was first shown in use by Master Yao in Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness. It is capable of stopping time for a few seconds before presumably wearing off.[1]

History[]

In Legends of Awesomeness[]

The move was performed in "My Favorite Yao" when Master Yao used it to stop himself from crashing at the bottom of the palace, having ridden a wooden cart all the way down. The wooden cart also fell to pieces after Yao got off the cart which was floating in mid air, suggesting it has a breaking property or this could have been from going down the large stairs of the Jade Palace.

When Master Yao's powers were stolen in "Apocalypse Yao", Gahri briefly used this move on Fung before being defeated by Po, who then forced Bian Zao to give back Yao his powers.
