Crane's father is a character briefly mentioned in the episode "Mama Told Me not to Kung Fu" from the series Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness. He was the father of Crane and the husband of Yan Fan, Crane's mother. His real name was never mentioned.

Earlier Years

Little is known about Crane's father, only that he married Yan Fan and had a son with her. According to Yan Fan, Crane's father was quite frail and easily injured. This apparently caused Yan Fan to believe their son to be just as fragile as her husband, resulting in her becoming overprotective of Crane. At some point later on, Crane's father passed way, leaving Yan Fan widowed.

In Legends of Awesomeness

Crane's father was mentioned briefly in the episode "Mama Told Me not to Kung Fu", in which Crane was trying to hide the fact that he was a Kung Fu master from his overprotective mother. While coddling Crane, she compared him to his father, saying, "Listen, it's not your fault you're weak and delicate and brittle like your father, rest his soul."
