In The Emperor's Quest
The Emperor assigned Po and Shifu to deliver a very rare and expensive vase safely. Later towards the end, The Emperor was very excited to meet Po and revealed to him that he was the special delivery for him.

In Kung Fu Panda: The Emperor's Quest, he is revealed to have a jolly personality and is very pleased to meet Po and considers him a "special delivery" to him.
