Red jade is a mineral used as an energy source for the White Bone Demon's army of terra cotta warriors. It is able to absorb and release energy.
Description[]
Red jade can be obtain in Langgong and on its own is highly unstable. Although on its own, red jade doesn't have its own energy, it can absorb great amount of energy such the wellspring and reanimate inanimate object or even bridge the gap between the realm of the death and the realm of the lving.

- Red jade is basically a chi-based version of a radioactive mineral, especially when used improperly, on account that it drains life from an area for miles and can be very explosive. Thankfully, unlike normal radiation, such an explosion-- instead of destroying everyone as expected-- it restored life and balance to the world, as well as give chi to everyone rather then just pandas and kung fu masters as originally reserved in the Wellspring.
- It is considered a rare substance... even rarer than ordinary jade.
- It is as beautiful as it is dangerous, as shown by the fact Bao wanted to make an earring out of red jade... he only changed his mind when Sun Wukong pointed out he'd blow his ear off doing so.
