Kung Fu Panda: Battle of Destiny is an online collectible card game developed by Ludia. It was soft-launched on November 12, 2015 in Australia[1] and released on January 27, 2016 in North America.[3]

Legend tells of an ancient card battle game, whose hundreds of cards and strategic kung fu card battles were the stuff of... legends. In this game based on DreamWorks "Kung Fu Panda", both beginner and bodacious kung fu warriors will train to master their skills and achieve PURE AWESOMENESS!

Get your kung fu on and go head-to-head with friends and other players as you battle for card fu supremacy! Hone your skills against the Practice Dummy or face off against live opponents. With each skadoosh, rise in the ranks and become the ultimate kung fu master![1]

THE STUFF OF LEGENDS: Make super cool STUFF by transforming cards you don't need into cards that you totally need!

QUESTS FOR GOLD: Master your Kung Fu by completing daily Quests - Conquer each challenge to win Gold and earn the respect of your opponents.

When playing the game with a basic Crane deck, one may notice the interesting cards that could possibly reference what Kung Fu moves Crane uses in his everyday life as a Kung Fu bird. The moves/cards in this deck are as follows:

  1. Wind of Foolishness - Blackout an Enemy Warrior with 5 strength or less.
  2. Wind of Wisdom - Randomly give a friendly warrior Leap, Block, or Push Back.
  3. Battlefield Blues - Trick: When your opponent plays a warrior, set his strength to 1.
  4. Crane Style - Trick: When a friendly warrior is attacked, give your warriors Block this turn.
  5. Encouraging Words - Give a friendly warrior +3 health and Guard. Draw a card.
  6. Put It Back! - Trick: When an enemy warrior with 6 strength or more attacks, return it to your opponent's hand.
  7. Shield Smash - Push Back an enemy warrior and deal 4 range damage to it.
  8. Tempest - Deal 3 range damage to all enemy characters.
  9. Wind of Weakness - Set the strength of all enemy warriors to 1 this turn.
  10. Dive Bomb - Deal 4 range damage to a warrior and 2 range damage to adjacent warriors.
  11. Rabbit Launcher - Leap
  12. Shatter Shot - Stun a damaged warrior and reduce its health to 1.
  13. Ironwing - Meditate. Kickoff: Give a friendly warrior Block until your next turn.
  14. Take Flight - Give a damaged friendly warrior +3/+3 and Leap.
  15. Tangle Horns - Whenever this warrior is equipped, it gains Block.
  16. Wind of Freedom - Unequip all enemy warriors. Restore 5 health to your master.
  17. Fleet Feet - Meditate. Your warriors with Leap have +3 strength.
  18. Surging Scavenger - Meditate. Kickoff: Give Leap to a warrior with 4 strength or less.
  19. Sword Beaker - Enemy equipment costs (3) more.
  20. Synergy - Deal 5 range damage split randomly between all enemy characters. Restore 5 health to your master.
  21. Wingman - Farewell: Deploy a random vulture.
  22. Crafty Croc - Whenever you play a warrior, equip it with +1 health Scaled Pads.
  23. Swooping Condor - Meditate. Furious: +3. Strength and Leap.
  24. Bouncer - Block. Kickoff: Guard.
  25. Winged Champion - Leap. Swift. While in Guard, adjacent warriors have Leap.

Release[]

The game was soft-launched in Australia on November 12, 2015,[1] and later released in North America on January 27, 2016.[3] There are currently no confirmed dates or announcements of releasing it in other territories.

It was initially released exclusively on qualifying iOS devices, but an Android version was later released on March 15, 2016.[4]
