The armor has deteriorated some from one single battle, with visible scars scratched across it.[1]
History[]
Background[]
Said to have been worn only once in his bloodiest battle against the warriors of the Guangdong Province, the armor of legendary Master Flying Rhino bears the scars of the stealthy lizard assassins' spinning butterfly knives (they were the only warriors to get close enough to make a mark).[3]
In Kung Fu Panda[]
After Po was declared the Dragon Warrior, he was carried to the Hall of Warriors to meet with Master Shifu. Before he did so, he gawked at the historical artifacts on display in the sacred hall. The first he looked at was Master Flying Rhino's armor, commenting on its "authentic battle damage" (referring to the scratches).

While Po gives Li Shan a tour of the Hall of Heroes, Li decides to try the armor on despite Po's warnings not to touch any of the artifacts. When Li contemplates returning it, he notices a string on the suit and pulls it out of curiosity. This causes the helmet to be pulled down, wings to sprout out of the back, and a small flag to pop out of the top. Po is so mesmerized by this that it makes him "pee a little". Afterwards, Po and Li decide to play with most of the Hall's artifacts, all while Li wears the armor.
Later, when Kai and his jombies attack the panda village, Li crafts a makeshift version of the armor from kitchen materials, complete with frying pans and woks as weapons, and straps Mr, Ping to his chest. He uses this armor to fight against the jaded Shifu.
In Showdown of Legendary Legends[]
The armor makes a minor appearance in the game as part of a bonus DLC character skin for Li.
