PLEASE look through the FAQs on my profile page. You'll be doing me a HUGE favor by saving me the time in answering the same questions over and over again.
A bit silly to list this, but sadly, I must: Do not ask me about things that I couldn't possibly know. Again, from my FAQ: I do not work for DreamWorks, nor am I an expert in all topics related to movies, or television, or animation, etc. So please refrain from asking me things like when something will be released, or why something is taking so long to release. I'll typically answer these with, "I don't know, sorry," because I really don't know what else to say.
Please do your research before asking me. I get a lot of questions that require me to do something that you could easily do yourself - e.g. asking me for the translation and meaning of a piece of foreign text, or asking me for updates on a particular piece of media, etc. Please be polite and do the research yourself first before asking me about it.
Please do not ask me to look at/visit/read/view/etc. something of yours. I'm quite a busy person and unfortunately do not have the time to look at everyone's stuff.
I did try 1920 at first, but the dimension ratio of all the caps but one (this one) wouldn't scale to exactly 1920 x 1080 without cropping. So I decided to stick with the same sizing as this image from season one. As a result, all the images are now between 500KB and 1MB, which is about where it should be.
The images do not need to be super large, especially if it's taking up a massive amount of byte space. Most of them were over 3000 pixels - no screencap should ever be THAT big.
Hi Oxlord. I'd argue that "main" implies there is more than one. This would be speculation, considering there are no other antagonists in the film. So to keep it simple, "antagonist" in and of itself is enough to convey the meaning! :)
Main antagonists can be applied to even a single one. As long as he is a central conflict. Other wikis also using this. Like the Evil Queen from Snow White and the Seven Dwarves from Disney Wiki. Villains Wiki and Wikipedia also stated that Tai Lung is considered as main antagonist.
Not every wiki community does things the same way, nor do they necessarily need to. It's fine if other wikis and even Wikipedia use that phrasing for every situation, but like Zara said, I felt it was unnecessary and had inaccurate implications, so I removed it. Closing the thread.
For spamming and throwing out a death threat. No idea why he and others have been creating weird non-wiki-related messages here, but this wiki isn't an open chatroom. I'll keep removing them if I see them, and eventually block its posters if it continues.
Sorry about that. I hate to admit that Rordartwer was being violent and very loud. You escorted Rordartwer out of the Kung Fu Panda Wiki, and he was blocked from Kung Fu Panda Wiki, and he will never come back from this wiki for good.
This user has recently used sockpuppet accounts to vandalize several wikis. One such wiki being the Ninjago wiki. A few hours ago he used the account User:Chopper_Maroon to blank several articles on the wiki.
What font is the numbers on your user profile box? Like it says 37973 edits, and the 37973 is in an Asian font it looks like. What font is that? I'm just wondering....And I don't know how you would put a different font on the user profile box.
So are you kind of like an on-call user in lieu of Special:Contact? That's what I'm getting from the description you gave. To be honest, I've only ever contacted staff just to help with technical stuff only staff could do (e.g. change a wiki's category, check a sockpuppeting user's IP, etc.), but I suppose it's good to know that I can also drop you a line.
Everything else I'm pretty comfortable with. I've been using wikis for more than a decade and have been running this one in particular for nearly as long. Not sure if that's the kind of help you were referring to or not; if so, then I'm good, lol.
I do appreciate you introducing yourself to me, though. I'll definitely give you a call if something comes up.
My role is to basically be your first point of contact so we can get issues resolved quickly and efficiently, without you necessarily having to queue up in Special:Contact. Some issues will still require you to go to Special:Contact at the moment (like the ones you outlined), but I am able to assist with editing concerns you may have or if social disputes arise on the wiki. If we can sort out social disputes before they escalate, that should make your life a lot easier.
Another benefit is that I can directly liaise with Fandom staff myself, meaning issues and questions can be resolved quickly.
You seem very comfortable editing wikis for sure! The wiki is looking very neat and tidy and the design is amazing. You should be very proud!
If you have any problems or questions, please feel free to drop me a line and I'll do my best to help. Happy editing! :)
