Biography[]
In The Dragon Knight[]
While much of her past is unknown, she became a raider/thief and attempted to steal the legendary Whip of Endless Flame for herself, but ended up getting herself trapped in the Lost City, thus forcing her to make it as her new home. Eventually, due to having stayed trapped for a very long time, she was somewhat driven mad by her loliness and this caused her to make small figures out of rocks, moss, and sticks so she could have company as well as friends to talk to.
When Po and Luthera entered the Lost City from the Tiangshang guardian and retrieved the Whip of Endless Flame, Rukhmini was alerted by this and reveals her presence to the duo. Atop a statue, she introduces herself under the false titles of 'Protector of the Whip of Endless Flame, Last of the Desert Wind, and Priestess of the Tiangshang Guardian' in order to prevent them from knowing who she really is. When Rukhmini challenges them to a fight, Po refuses and claims that 'she is...', but before he could finish his sentence, she ends it by saying "old?". Offended by what Po was meant to say, she uses her staff to make a rock fall onto Po's head before disappearing out of sight. She then immediately reappeared from behind them and takes the Whip of Endless Flame with ease.
When Rukhmini declares to Po and Luthera that they'll be punished under the false claim that they have invaded the Lost City, the duo insisted that they are not going to steal the whip but to protect it. Rukhmini laughs at this in response and claims that it has been well protected. When Luthera tries to convince her that they have to get the whip out of the city, Rukhmini refused and sternly declares that the whip along with the duo and herself will never leave since there is no way out, much to Po's despair. She then proceeded to welcome the latter and Luthera to the Lost City as their new home. When Luthera suggested that she use the whip of endless flame to break them out, Rukhmini lies that the weapon's power doesn't work within the walls of the city. She, of course, did this so that they will not know that the real whip is her staff. Rukhmini once again made up a lie that she had spent her entire life guarding the whip when Luthera claimed that she and Po wanted to protect it and honor thee legacy of Master Longtooth, the original wielder of the weapon.
After Rukhimi was able to get Luthera and Po to help her in getting out of the city which resulted in Po geting trapped and left behind, she began to laugh hysterically while Luthera uses the Whip of Endless Flame to try to destroy the boulder to free Po. Rukhmini then reveals the true form of her staff; the real Whip of Endless Flame. She then reveals her true self as a raider as well as her intention to sell the whip to the emperor for a fortune, which was what she had desired for 30 years. A fight then breaks out between her and Luthera.
