Yijiro (credited as Yojiro) is a minor character in the Nickelodeon television series Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness. He is a prawn and a highly trained samurai warrior of the Ishida Clan. He made his first appearance in the episode "The Way of the Prawn", where he aided Po and the others in stopping Kira from taking over China.

Earlier years[]
He used to be in the same clan as Kira, until the latter resorted to theft. The Ishida Clan defeated the Clam Clan, with Kira retreating to China.

From the past up to now, Yijiro is loyal to the code of Bushido. He is friendly, but will protect the weak. He gets upset if somebody doubts his skill.

Kira[]
Kiro and Yijiro used to be comrades, until Kiro betrayed the Ishida Clan and formed an army of his own to attack. After his army was defeated, Kiro escaped, but Yijiro was still on his trail, and they became enemies ever since.[2]
Po[]
At first, Po underestimated Yijiro and insulted him to no end until Yijiro defeated him easily by slashing his pants until they fell down. He temporarily taught Po the way of the Bushido.[2]
Tigress[]
Tigress has a huge crush on Yijiro, which leads the Furious Five to question her behavior around him. She fell in love with him at first sight (despite height difference) and was deeply honored when she got the chance to fight along side him and when she got the traditional Japanese headband.[2]

He carries around a tantō sword which compliments his size, in addition to the robe he wears.[2]
